project details
This is a local playspace located on the periphery of two ovals and adjacent to a scout hall used by the
local playgroup. The area was expanded after negotiation with Council. The graded challenges are informally
separated by open space areas and planting. Active opportunities include climbing, swinging, bouncing, sliding
and scrambling with an informal trike track for toddlers. There are explorative opportunities including a pump,
sandpit, creek, secret snake sculpture and a delightful sculpture of a Turpentine seed pod. There are other
discoveries to be made in the various surfaces and a north pointing seating area or home base for chasey
games.
